OUTLINE

This course is recommended for pilot trainee who has no prior experience in UA operation to attain the UAPL Class A – Rotorcraft (restricted to operate Multi-Rotor only).

THEORY COURSE

[Online] Day 1: 8.30am to 5.00pm

Includes:

 Session 1: General UAS Knowledge

 Session 2: Principles of Flight

 Session 3: Air Law

 Session 4: Navigation & Meteorology

 Session 5: Human Factors

 Session 6: Safety & Operations

 Mock Theory Test (MCQ)

PRACTICAL TRAINING

Day 2 to 9: 

Includes:

 Indoor Simulator Training

 Outdoor Practical Training with DJI Phantom 4 Series

 Outdoor Practical Training with MIRS-S1200

 Internal Evaluation by Instructor (UA)

PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT

Another Day: 1 Hour

Includes:

 Practical assessment carried out by Authorised Flight Examiner,

    AFE (UA) to assess on UA#1 and UA#2.

 ONE Free Attempt of UAPL Practical RE-assessment

    (1 Hour on Another Day)

*Remarks:

  UA#1 – Multi-Rotor up to 7kg only, UA#2 – Multi-Rotor up to 25kg

FEE EXCLUDED

 Theory Test conducted by CAAS ($125.00)

 Application for UA Pilot Licence on CAPELS ($500.00)
